Alan Moyle
Alan graduated from the University of Adelaide in Law and Economics (majoring in Accounting). He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in South Australia in 1981 and Victoria in 1997 and as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1986. Alan completed his Masters of Law at the University of London in 1986 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary College, University of London in 1987.
Alan practices in intellectual property, technology law, related trade practice issues, e-commerce and provides general commercial advice. He has 28 years experience in legal practice in the following areas:

Alan practised as a partner in a practice in Adelaide, as a senior associate in two of Melbourne's top tier law firms and as a corporate lawyer. In addition, he has lectured and published extensively. He was on the Editorial Board of Copyright World, is a member of the Law Council of Australia Intellectual Property Sub-Committee and a life member of Lawasia and Chair of the Lawasia Intellectual Property Committee. He was a founding member of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and is a member of the International Wine Law Association and several other professional bodies.
Prior to joining Stephens as a consultant, Alan worked as Corporate Counsel for a major government corporation establishing electronic commerce systems and advising on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property and technology and as General Counsel for two major Franchise Systems.
